Without further ado....Moab, Utah in all its glory. Now you can see why one would have to drive me kicking and screaming from my little corner of the universe.

I'm eager to take another stab at this course in 2011, minus trying to outrun a jeep! More photos to come in the next day or two from the wayback machine of the Imogene Pass Run.

Gosh those are such pretty photos. I really hope I can get back to running distances after all this baby stuff is said and done. I saw this article http://www.coloradorunnermag.com/read_new/steamboat-ultrarunner-gruben-dies-after-car-crash - did you hear about that? Anyway - can't wait to see the Imogene pictures. I was wondering whether I'd be up for it in September, but right now I'm thinking no.
Yes, and in fact my friends were running with Angie (the driver of the vehicle) for most of the race. I met the Steamboat crew after and they were a bunch of SUPER cool people. We were absolutely shocked to read what happened. My friend Nick has been in regular contact with Angie, and Nick, Jen & I have been talking about putting together some kind of run in her honor. It was such a shock because they were almost home...that really could have been any of us hitting a slick spot in the road post-race.
I'm not really into the trail running thing, but those photos are GREAT! It really is beautiful out there. I can see how the time would really go by quickly while enjoying the scenery.
